Dear Fourth Grader and Family,

Hi!  My name is Mr. Crowley and I will be your fourth grade teacher.  I hope you have been enjoying your summer vacation.   I have had a great summer vacation with my family and can’t wait to hear about all of your summer fun on the first day of school!

I can hardly believe that the summer is almost over and our exciting adventure together will begin in just a few short weeks!  I can’t begin to tell you how enthusiastic I am to be your teacher, and I hope that you are excited as well.  I have been working on our classroom to get it ready for the school year.  

I am excited to get to know each and every one of you, where we will all learn from one another in our classroom community.  Within the classroom, I work hard to design lessons in which all students will be able to take an active role.  I will challenge you to do your best in all tasks that you undertake, and I am confident that you will come out on top!
