State law requires that a parent or guardian must provide an absent note for each missed day of school. The note should include the student’s name, date(s) of the absence, and the reason for the absence. View the Council Rock School District Attendance Policy here. An educational family trip must be excused using our printable Educational Family Trip form below. This form cannot be submitted online. There are three (3) ways that you can report a student’s absence. Choose one (1) of the following: |
1. Online You can report an absence electronically by emailing hceattendance@crsd.org. Note must include parent’s name, child’s name, teacher's name, date(s) of absence, and reason for absence. |
2. Printable Absent Forms You can report an absence by using our Printable Absence Form. Print it, fill it in, and send it into school, with your child, addressed to the homeroom teacher. The teacher will then forward the note to the main office. |
3. Handwritten Note You can handwrite or type a note and send it into school with your child. Upon receipt, the homeroom teacher will then forward the note to the main office. Please include your child’s first and last name, teacher's name, the date(s) of the absence, and the reason for the absence. |
